The lake is open again, but now with signs stressing "physical distancing".  The first person I see is an older guy wearing a mask walking his dog.  I'm again just out for some brief exercise

Don't know how many walkers I'll encounter

Hikers up on Calavera mountain...maintaining distancing
Although they did come closer again

And this is the elderly guy I first saw --now not wearing his mask

And as he approached, I said to him...looks like we've got our lake back.  He was hard of hearing, so turned his ear towards me so I could repeat what I had said.  And I was only about a foot away from the guy!! We exchanged a few more words, all the while at this close distance.  What was I thinking!!  Obviously I wasn't.

So the very next day I started getting pains and pressure in my chest; exactly what the literature had said were some of the symptoms of the virus.  Had I contracted it??  Was the old guy a carrier??  Stupid me.  Of course, I didn't get any of the 3 main symptoms...high fever, coughing and shortness of breath.  Still...  Telling Mary Ann, she was ready to go get me tested.  But without these 3 primary symptoms it seemed they wouldn't have tested me.  Besides, one had to consult their primary physician first.  I was scheduled to see Dr. Heifetz in a few days.  After a day or two the pains went away, although it left my chest and my hip started hurting.  I thought maybe I had pneumonia, because the pain was also in my back, but again the doctor said my lungs were clear.  Also, no temperature.  Maybe I had had a very minimal exposure to the virus.  I haven't had the (chest) pains quite like that before.  Worrisome

Every time I encountered someone I turned to the side until they passed
none of us wearing a mask

.......
I didn't remember seeing this greenery at the top before
But yes, it's been there all along
